came out to my scoob today after hearing a loud noise and the sti6 spoiler is hanging off the back of the car. not sure weather someone tried to steal it or if it was jelous vandals. either way im gutted, if it wasnt for the fact i had it siliconed to the boot i think it would be gone. anyone else experianced similar probs?

Yep, I have the same done on mine, but they never actually got the spoiler, only just caused a damaged twisted boot lid.
I was lucky that I heard a clunk noise outside on my drive, when I looked out I noticed 3 lads in my neighbours garden leaning over the wall towards my car. I shouted out aloud from my bedroom window & they all ran off.
After a quick inspection everthing looked ok on the car. So I parked it into the garage. This happen about 8 o clock in the evening.
I only notice the damage when I tired to shut the boot lid getting the shopping in from asda.
They are just bas..tard's.

I am just glad that when I fitted the spoiler I used all the fixings point & tiger seal.

Sorry to hear If I may recommend THESE or similar. I have 3 covering the full perimiter of my house, and apart from the odd cat triggering them they alert me to any movement on my property, day or night. Wouldn't be without them.

i don't suppose you could get fingerprints for the police,
not much they can do but at least they can keep a record, and it is a crime

they did offer to do fingerprints but not untill the following day and the car was parked outside a mates house, i had to take the spoiler off before going home so i didn't think they would find anything after we'd had our hands all over it. just wish id seen who done it or a number plate or somethin.
