Cool Anyone got a 60-0 time for 'Normal' Braking?

Say i was driving on the A50 to stoke at 13:44 on a saturday with a strong SE wind in slighty damp conditions and i applied a medium pressure to the brake pedal to stop the car whilst drinking some tea with too much sugar in but not enough milk and if i had six pot AP brakes with 355mm disks that had done 2304 miles in dry use only.

What distance would i cover before coming to a standstill?

you can get 42.0 if you increase the sugar, something to do with sticky pads!

I think a more important question is at 70% humidity and -3 deg centigrade how long would it take for your rear windscreen to demist without the use of external aids?

you could use the condensed water from the rear screen to dilute the sugar and create syrup, then coat it on the brake pedal. That cuts another second off.

Was the tea early grey or normal. I find that drinking early grey drastically reduces the length of time that you need to brace yourself.

Try Scottish Blend - better in wet conditions.

Or go into reverse and apply reverse thrust
