seems to be the 99's that suffer most.
I fitted masking tape to seal any gaps between bumper and cooler and its better, still got to seal along the top (where number plate once was).
will report back with results.

If you just nail it every where you can't hear it
its gone at 50, having been playing with gaffer tape the last few times out I think its to do with the shape of the lower part of the bumper directing air around where the pipe work comes up to the end tanks as I've nearly eliminated it.

Jim,
be sure to take a few pics to help out us others with what works in reducing it and what doesnt, my front bumper looks like an airfix kit at the moment with all the bloodt gaffer tape

actually, I removed the number plate mounting and it has quietened down the whistling to a certain extent.
I think next I will make up a "slam panel" to fit underneath as the cooler protrudes below the bumper and it may be adding to the noise.
not quite there but getting a lot better.
Fantastic bit of kit as well, can really feel the inlet side pipe is markedly colder than the outlet

like Andys - up until about 30 and then road noise / wind gets too much to hear it .
