Default Spoilers Off E-Bay Any Good

Has anyone bought a new Sti style spoiler off one of the companies off ebay?

If so what is the quality like? Which company was it?

Cheers

Unless you can paint one yourself you're unlikely to be getting a bargain - I've considered getting one myself.

Have a look at DR Motorsports site - all the prices include painting (which is free BTW)

ETS racing do some good spoilers at sensible money, no need to risk your cash on e-bay.

have a look at their website- www.etsracing.com

they have a good reputation and the quality of their stuff is fantastic

i have just noticed the same seller has this for sale

http://search.ebay.co.uk/sti-7-8-spo...Q2f8Q20spoiler

Is that the one you bought? Will it cover / fit the existing holes (I've got a bugeye wrx). If it does I think I'll buy one too. My car is going in a week on Tuesday so need something by then.

I have just bought a spoiler for a 05 WRX on ebay from vauxallcars or someone like that and it came through quickly,to germamy too. was slightly damaged on arrival mind.It is with the body shop/sprayers now so will post a pic when fitted. I hope they can do a good job as the spoiler only cost 122 squid! (snipper bidding!)

I gave up with ebay in the end after speaking to a number of suppliers of aftermarket spoilers, I couldnt be satisfied that the e-bay spoilers quality would be good enough.

Ended up buying from scooby world. Got a discount through them too. Arrived today, bought it yesterday, cant argue with that!

End of the day ebay can be a bit of a gamble and I didnt want to take the risk. Even though I know there are bargains to be had there. Post your pics up when you get it sprayed and make me wish I'd bought from ebay!
