Question How thirsty is your scooby...?

Iv had the car a month now. its 280bhp. I seem to be getting 220 miles to £35 of optimax (3/4 of a tank as i never let it go under 1/4 )

Thats with half driving steady and half with a lead foot

Does everyone else get similar consumption?

280ps import

average about 220 miles to a tank with daily driving and a blast up the dual carrige way on the way to and from work, (although last week i only managed about 190 due to sum high speed activitys lol)

motorway going to se my bird down south 282miles before i fill up on the way back.
if you get much less then that then your car is probably not running quite right, and mines running a bit of boost and stuff as well

Best I had was just over 38mpg all the way from Portsmouth to York and back.
Two up, 60mph all the way steady.
---
Normal driving for me is lots of country lane stuff, normally get 210miles per tank £40 of Optimax.

MY95 Decat

I get about 200ish from 3/4 tank of optimax in a MY05 WRX, most of that is short journeys to and from work, 8 mile each way. With the odd high speed blast in between

cheers for the replies!

fookin ell 100miles to 60litres lol!

the car is running ok, its a MY95 import WRX, exhaust, decat, downpipe, intercooler. boosts to just over 1bar. i do 30miles per day round trip to work, 18 of those are on the motorway.

I worked it out at around 22(ish)mpg which is about right i thought! just hope a remap doesnt cause it to drink like a fish! my mates evo2 drinks loads more fuel and he's running same power! but a bit lighter!

Down to about 230/240 miles per tank Optimax/OB now. Mostly short journeys though and it's always driven with a heavy right. No commuting for the fridge.

Default I can't complain

I've got a MY00 UK Turbo with standard engine and transmission and can hit 300-320 miles before I refill (and typically find I've got 5-8 litres left.) I run with Optimax and my daily journey is a good combination of urban, 50-60mph single carriageways, and some 70-80mph motorway driving. I'm happy to use the fun pedal, but don't constantly.

Regards,

Jonty.

the only sort of driving you could compare that to though was a trackday!

£40 = 240 miles in winter, 260 miles in summer - driving like a poof, floor it and open your wallet!!!!
