hks ssqv any good?

I've got chance of acquiring a hks ssqv and just wondered if it would be better than my vta dump valve i have now.I currently have a turboxs type h.

I have one on my STi V1 and never ahd any problems at all with it, seems good quality to me.
The car came with it though so can't say i've anything to compare it to
