Default Legacy Turbo - Mods?

Hi all ,I have just bought a dirt cheap Legacy Turbo. If my memory serves me correctly ,a lot of the running gear of the Impreza and Legacy is the same or similar , so ARE any goodies interchangeable? IE will Impreza wheels/struts/brakes/engine bits fit my Legacy ?

Any info or links gratefully received - despite having 170K on the clock it has just passed its MOT first time and seems to pull like a train - but it's never enough is it?

Cheers

Simply put.....yes

Mine had:

MY95WRX engine including TD05 turbo,
H&S exhaust (note, exhaust has to be different from impreza, especially on the estates)
440injectors
Uprated Fuel Reg
Uprated Fuel Pump
HKS dumpvalve
HKS Air intake
4-pot calipers from later imprezas
16" impreza wheels

As you can tell most of this is Impreza stuff.

You'll need to change the rear diff if you go for certain impreza boxes.
If you stick with the std Legacy Engine, you may want to swap the heads if they become "tappity" (which is highly likely at your mileage).
The legacy Chargecooler will benefit from a bigger front rad, but will stand you in surprsingly good stead.

If you go for an ECU change, bear in mind you'll need an additional output set up for the chargecooler pump.

You may wish to do a search on the VOS chip, a cheap legacy chip which will give you noticeable improvements in power and torque.
