Hi could anyone tell me what the advantages are having samco turbo hoses? do they only make the engine look pretty.

 

the oem are plastic so could break under higher boost levels hence the ppp kit includes a uprated hose in the price

 

The intercooler y hose flows significantly better than the standard plastic y piece. The turbo inlet hose flows better, and allows the turbo to spin up noticeably quicker (perhaps 4-5mph earlier in top gear)

 

samco hose from turbo to intercooler is also wider

 

I had my mota on a RR before and after fitment of Samco hoses (different days) and the figure with the hoses on was up 4 bhp You can draw your own conclusions of course it may have been the hoses or it could of been a host of other things
