Default DCCD SIX SPEED WIRING ON A CLASSIC

Hi Guys,
I have just fitted a six speed gearbox to my MY95 WRX STI RA.
Hardest job I have ever done on a car, nightmare!!!!!
Everthing is on and working except the DCCD.
My car originaly had DCCD on the five speed, the six speed box also has DCCD.
There are two wires coming out of the 6 speed DCCD as there was on the five speed.
When I fix the two wires (Either way) the diff light keeps flashing!!
Will the wiring on the six speed DCCD be diffrent??
Has anyone done a six speed conversion with DCCD if so how do you wire it up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Andy.

Are you using the old DCCD controller or the new? The new one has an Auto mode and requires more signals than the old 5MT manual-only ones

the new DCCD should plug in exactly the same as the old one. I assume you are, but you need to connect them with the ignition off, then power up the car and see what happens.

Did the old DCCD actually work?

Wich signal is needed for the DCCD? Voltage?

Anyone to make a controller himself?

I've got this to come i guess then , i'm just sourcing the box now. Was it a specific one to suit. Mines going to be going onto my 96 type RA too.

Did you have the use of a transmission jack or was it a struggle
