Question Criminal Activity Against Scoobies, please enter this poll

I, like others on these boards, am becoming concerned at the amount of reported criminal activity aimed at Subarus.

I would like to find out if it is something of major concern or is it a small percentage of owners that have suffered.

I hope that the results will show that it is only a small percentage.

I have set a poll to try and find out the facts.

Please do not list car park dents, these are annoying but I would like them kept out of the results.

Please feel free to expand your poll with a brief description of the criminal activity against your Scooby.

Please only enter the poll with events that happened in the last 12 months.

You can answer in more than 1 category.

I need as many posters as possible to use this poll in order to get a wider picture.

Thanks in anticipation,

Big-G

There must be a few non-scooby owners reading this thread, more people reading it than polling on it.!!!!

Many thefts get report on here, but little detail about what what security was in place at the time gets detailed.

It would be interesting to see if security devices, such as a Diskloc or BlackJax or Tracker do their job.

Obviously, this does not cover mindless vandalism.

2 attempted break-ins to the house - both failed to get in. Does that count? One was at night whilst we were in and caused 1500 quid of damage as the "silly people" tried to jemmy every downstairs window, knackering them in the process but not breaking in. Second was walking downstairs to find someone trying to get past the yale lock with a very, very thin screwdriver. Legged it along with 2 other lads into a waiting 406 - which turns out was stolen earlier that night. Oh yes, I remember that well... Happy bloody valentine's day!

Voted Legacy, damaged or stolen parts.

Got keyed parked outside The Point in Milton Keynes, I'd had the car 3 days.

This poll should have an option for petty vandalism really as my vote seems more severe than the actual damage.

Ubik & Lum.

I can only get 10 items to poll on, you are not allowed any more,
so I suggest putting yours down as damaged.

Keep em coming peeps, need to get an accurate figure.

Just voted for "nothing to report" On a new age MY05, Only had it since the 1st March though !!!

Got a Tracker monitir and Blackjax on it and my car park at home has CCTV on it 24 hours a day
and the works car park is secured once everyone is in and patrolled by our security staff so fingers crossed it should remain as it is !!!

Rear numberplate went a few weeks ago. Some other people in the street had theirs taken too - I'm assuming the local pikey little ***** had a new craze...

Attempted armed car-jacking.

No appropriate catergories on the poll though.

Beware cloning! Chassis numbers can and are displayed more openly on cars today eg on glass, dash plates and running boards etc.
