Question Wideband to narrow O2

Has anyone tried the simulated narrowband output from tha AEM UEGO AFR (neat gauge by the way) to the ecu and if so does it behave? This to avoid another hole in the down pipe and just swap out the standard Lambda for the Bosch wideband. Its for a my02 STi.

I've used the Techedge simulated NB output with success on the OEM ECU on MY99/00.

Thanks John, I'll give it a try and let y'all Know how it goes.
By the way its fine now after all those rebuilds due to the two faulty MAF's, you can also understand why I'm fitting accurate AFR gauge!!
