Unhappy

Well the STi has finally been sold, sniff. I will miss it. That leaves me the company Clio, at least it won't cost me money on tyres.

I would just like to thank everyone for all the helpful advice over the last 2yrs. The friendly 'banter' was much appreciated too.

If anyone sees a Clio 172 waving at them, please wave back, i'll be having one of my sentimental moments.

Craig.

how are you finding the handling now that you've had it for a few weeks - less twitchy than initial impressions?

Won't cost you as much in tires? With 172 horses trying to rip the front ones to shreds?

Enjoy it. I quite fancy one myself being a bit of a closet renault fan...

It does feel a little light at times, especially in those faster corners. I getting more used to it, handling is quite good, once you get used to the roll.

why aren't you working? will you be back this weekend?

Cool

I have read a bit about the V6 Clio due next year (?). I'd expect 250bhp in such a small car would be a bit scary? Does an extra 4cm really make that much difference?

BTW does it say in the handbook that you have to smash up your house before driving the 172?

Interesting choice of car. My last Renault
hot hatch (I've had three) was a Clio Williams. Great car, could have easily handled more power. Held its value rather better than my Scoob too.
I still miss the Williams now, still too late. I pick my new Scoob up from Holland tomorrow......

The V6 is not really a Clio, midengined and rear wheel drive?!?!? Methinks its a concept car with something resembling a Clio put over the top!

When you haven't got much to play with in the first place 4cm is alot.

The handbook recommends beating "the other half" alot less expensive than throwing plates, and if your carefull won't leave bruises.

Nightmare, i never said that. you now i would be a dead man.
