Unhappy MY99 Type RA Rear Wheel Bearing

I've got to change the rear wheel bearing in my Type RA cos there a bit of movement in there, I've removed the hub and taken the hub and a replacement bearing to a local garage so that they can press it in/out for me, and they've told me that the bearing I've gone and got is wrong

I bought the replacement bearing from here.

Can anyone confirm that the RA uses a different bearing and where I can get one from?

Cheers

I have changed the outside rear bearing on my 1997 RA , it needed pressing out don't use a hammer !!!!! I bought it from a local bearing supplier. I will check what numbers are on it for you but I think it was identical to the original one ie by the oe manufacturer.

the MY99 STi RA uses a larger bearing than the equivilent UK or non STi RA, contact a specialist like prosport, they could order you the correct parts.

Thanx John & Dave. I've sent an email to Prosport, I'm still waiting for a response, but hopefully they'll come up trumps.
