upgrades
bought my 2000 wrx last year its great but still standard, i want to give it more bottom end grunt, want to change the exhaust to something more with more growl without being deafening what would you guys recommend, was also considering a dumpvalve and new air filter, suggestions please

Lots of suitable exhausts, mine is a Ninja and I can't speak highly enough of it:

Dumpvalve, I wouldn't really bother - but on saying that mine had one when I bought it and I have left it on.
Air filter, be careful as sometimes this messes up the MAF, best to replace the panel filter with a free-flowing one. I have a green panel filter on mine, comes highly recommended:
