upgrades
 
bought my 2000 wrx last year its great but still standard, i want to give it more bottom end grunt, want to change the exhaust to something more with more growl without being deafening what would you guys recommend, was also considering a dumpvalve and new air filter, suggestions please:idea:

Do a search this has been covered umpteen times.

Lots of suitable exhausts, mine is a Ninja and I can't speak highly enough of it:

Dumpvalve, I wouldn't really bother - but on saying that mine had one when I bought it and I have left it on.

Air filter, be careful as sometimes this messes up the MAF, best to replace the panel filter with a free-flowing one. I have a green panel filter on mine, comes highly recommended:

Pretty loud, especially idling or low throttle. WOT or motorway crusing it isn't that loud IMO, not intrusive on motorway in particular. In town people turn around 30 yards away to see whats coming - not an ideal stealth upgrade :)
