Smile Anyone seen or been in a STI 9 Extreme from Motor point ???

Popped round today to what you get ,after 10 or so min's" it's got flared archers mate and 20 more bhp"?? said the sales guy. This is 2K more than the normal sti @ £20559 .So whats it like, any picks and why only 290bhp????

Its motorpoint effort at selling euro "imports" (awaits lemoncurd) with DCCD - A ie our uk spec MY05 Sti's

Unconfirm horsepower rating's also

Personally they are extracting the urine IMHO

When you say flared arches I assume you mean the piece of plastic on the rear wheel arch to cover the slightly wider tyres used on the 05 models????

Not seen the car they could not give me much of a clue about the car either hense thread.Normal STI MY05 had plastic arch trims but I could not see the driver's center diff control??? (normal STI MY05 £20559) extreme around £22559 so what do you get for your money if only 290 bhp???

I may be wrong but DCCD is a £1000 option.

a good few years ago I went to one of these car supermarket-thingy places cos I was looking for a renault 21 turbo (yes it was THAT long ago!).

I've never had a more displeasing experience in my life!

when I arrived at this place a sales guy on a test drive going past hung out the window and shouted not to drive in because there was no customer parking and to park elsewhere, whilst with his customers!

They wouldnt show me the car, and when I found it myself the front bumper was on the floor in front of it, although they kindly offered to refit it for me for a small fee!!!!!

These places are classic pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap places and I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole if I was buying a run of the mill car let alone a scoob.

If they are able to sell ANY car for thousands cheaper than anywhere else there is a reason, and that will be the gotcha you end up with later on.

Pay a bit more and be sure would be my advice
