Mark, basically the same as the "classic" if you are doing this, main difference is that the O.E. reg is located at the front of the drivers side fuel rail (rather that at the back on early cars)...................very easy to get at

You are better off not fitting it though and just uprating the fuel pump especialy if the factory ecu is still in use. They seem to cause more problems than they solve imho. The ecu pwm's the pump according to engine load via the fp controller so there is no problem with overpowering.

Andy/bob,
As mark says this is to be fitted once the injectors and TD05-fe are fitted the injectors I am using are off an sti8 from america which I belive flow to 575 so i would be upping the fuel flow = more power ?. Alyn yhpm.

As std the later cars run more pressure in any case, bear in mind that a walbro gets into real trouble at pressures above 5 bar so you have to watch out. There really shouldn't be the need, if there is then hiking the injector size is the correct way to do it, not the fuel pressure, again this relates to running factory management. So if you are fitting bigger injectors just fit something that will cope on normal pressures etc. If you are planning on using aftermarket management then you can do what you like within reason although the fuel pressure concerns are the same.

Thanks for that bob as I said earlier I have the fse lying in the garage so while the cars in bits I might as well fit it saves doing it at a later date if I decide to up the spec later.

where the braided fuel line disappears to the left behind the perrin intake is the std location for the new-age cars...................
some JDM and/or spec-C cars have it to the right of the manifold near the passenger side turret...............

One thing i didn't really like about fitting an aftermarket reg on a newage, was the lack of 90degree pipe on the fuel line fitting. Just didn't like how you then have the fuel pipe doing the 90degree bend...
