Looking for alternatives here.....
How can you tune the standard MY98 car further than full decat and induction, as I heard the ECU cannot be ECUTEK'd.. and I assume a MY99/00 ECU will not work?! Is that right??
Not looking to spend shed loads on it, eg GEMS, etc...

i got a uk 98 m8, i managed 265bhp & 252lbft at well lane.
And all i done is full de-cat,dawes device, and a new pannel filter !
oh yes also remove the resonator box out of the drivers side wing and run some ducting to the bumber slat's to get more cold air in to the air box
yer the ecu wont ecu-tec it's just a pain with 98 cars.
