MY98 UK Impreza
 

Looking for alternatives here.....

How can you tune the standard MY98 car further than full decat and induction, as I heard the ECU cannot be ECUTEK'd.. and I assume a MY99/00 ECU will not work?! Is that right??

Not looking to spend shed loads on it, eg GEMS, etc...

i got a uk 98 m8, i managed 265bhp & 252lbft at well lane.

And all i done is full de-cat,dawes device, and a new pannel filter !

oh yes also remove the resonator box out of the drivers side wing and run some ducting to the bumber slat's to get more cold air in to the air box;)

yer the ecu wont ecu-tec it's just a pain with 98 cars.
