Hi,

I thought that too, till about 2 months ago I rang round and was told of an unregistered one by Cotswolds. I picked it up 3 weeks ago and she's just past a 1k ;-)

Seems to me that IM dropped a bollock and spouted off too early that they'd all been sold (some would say that the ones left are due to buyers who couldn't/wouldn't stump up the readies when the time came - but I think that there were too many left for that to be case). Then they find themselves in the situation where people who would have bought one, mistakenly believe that none are left.

This leads to the current state of play where everyone starts having a go and saying the WR1 is crap 'cus they haven't all sold.

subaru sold the first 500 p1's but not greedy and made another 500 which sold poorly, the 22b uk spec subaru forgot to register them and by the time they did the imports had sneaked in and due to regulations it meant subaru had to wait till the next year to register them.the wr1 is not selling as well as subaru says nowadays there is too much choice for £30,000 jdm/t25/t20 or wait a few months and get the new improved 05 model all imho

Talking how and earth?

did this thread become another...lets knock the wr1 thread? Impressive stuff.

I don't really get the anti wr1 threads, if you count the reduced insurance compared to either an import or modded (PPP) car and the better resale how can you go wrong.

Default because

insurers see it as a official manufacturered......standard car hence lower than a modded car with more than a 10% increase in power (seems to really hike the insuarance) I'm sure there may be some exceptions from insurance companies but that is the norm.
