The Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001

Further requirements for registration plates
11. - (1) No reflex-reflecting material may be applied to any part of a registration plate and the plate must not be treated in such a way that the characters of the registration mark become, or are caused to act as, retroreflective characters.

(2) A registration plate must not be treated in any other way which renders the characters of the registration mark less easily distinguishable to the eye or which would prevent or impair the making of a true photographic image of the plate through the medium of camera and film or any other device.

Better off driving up a dirt track and getting the car all bogging all the plod can do is tell you to clean it off, mind you could book you if a real a-hole but more than likely to tell you to clean it first

Our supplier has assured us that the product is legal at present.

But we will be looking into this further ourselves.

We only have a small amount as a sample and depending on our findings we may take may it off the site.

Hope that Helps

Cool

I've got a product you will all be interested in. I GUARANTEE you will never, ever be caught speeding, no, not from now till the day you die, 100% guaranteed. It's a far better, superior device to any laser jammer/detector, etc on the market. This device is the very best available, no, it's not expensive, no, not £399, not £299, not even £199. In fact, not even £99. You can have this device without paying one penny, you won't even have to order it. You can have it by purely making a decision. Let me tell you, it's FREE, and it's guaranteed to work every time, no more speeding tickets ever again. Its called 'DON'T SPEED'.

So, of course you would be prepared to swear on the lives of your family that you have NEVER driven at 80MPH on a motorway or 35mph on an urban main road late at night...

No, I thought not...

Reflective spray paint for number plates definitely doesn't work against Gatsos though. Neither does hairspray. Sorry.
