Default Bad Handling on WRX

i have a unmodded MY95 WRX with 17" toyo T1-S (4 months old tyres) on and the every time i go round a corner at 40mph+ i get the feeling i am goona slide, could this be down to old suspension, balancing not correct, need geometry set up, and upgraded suspension

was being chased before by a BMW 320, fine on the straights but had to brake loads for the corners as was sure it all end in disaster

is it just me or is something wrong with the car

cheers in advance

Mickey

tyre pressures ok, had the same problem on my yokohamas which were before my Proxos

iam just wondering coz the car is 9 yrs old that it might need geometry, suspension etc updated but on a corner at 40mph when its slightly wet the steering just feels so light and i feel a s if it has alot less grip.

oh and whould this happen if my wheels weren't balanced or tracking off?

cheers in advance chaps

Get somebody that knows what they are about and familiar with Scoobs to drive it.
Where are you based.
Be careful as you could start spending money changing things and get no improvement.

Start of with geometry set-up, you'd be amazed how many cars are miles out, even new ones.
If the shocks are 9yrs old they could well be pretty worn depending on mileage etc.
If your wheels weren't balanced more likely to get bad vibes at certain speeds through the steering wheel.

Mine seems pretty unpredictable in the wet also.

Have upgraded to 18s with 35 profile tyres and had started to notice some handling changes in My 94 wrx.

I am trying to find some where that will know how to do the geometry. Have also notice some play in my rear anti roll bar bushes/suspension bushes.

Get under your car and try pulling on the anti roll bar at the ends and see what happens.

Let me know how you get on if you get the geometry done mate.
