Default Road Rage - Think Before You Have A Go!

Coz this happened to me today!

Well..... Fleets Lane about 5.30pm. She (mondeo estate) was in the left lane to go straight on, I was in the right filter for B&Q. At last minute she swerved in front of me and went into B&Q. I only just missed her and had to brake hard.

She park diagonally across two bays as didn't leave time to straighten up. I parked a few bays down and got out my car to advise her of my dissatisfaction with her driving technique. She just sat in the car and then from a car in front of hers a bloke arrived and started giving it some... she then found her strength and also got out of her car calling me naughty names etc. and egging me on for a fight. I thought hang on, big bloke, little me. I replied with a few choice words and stomped into B&Q for a new loo roll holder.

Came out 15 mins later to find my baby battered. Got scenes of crime coming over tomorrow etc ... hope they can pull the registration number off his s*** heap cavalier! Their cars were caught on CCTV from B&Q so lets hope they catch the bastids.

She was in a dark blue Mondeo Estate with baby seat in back - about 30ish with dark hair to shoulders - quite skinny. He was about same age - short hair, white aran type sweater in a very old Vauxhall Cavalier - probably G-L reg.

Still, could have been my head I guess LOL

Karen,
Sorry to hear that. Some people really should be taken off the roads.

Hope the CCTV allows you to find out who it was. Some people just don't like it pointed out that they are in the wrong.

You're right though, better the car than you.

Am trying to work out what they hit it with though, looks like a ball ended hammer.

That's ****ing outrageous!

The rozzers can actually take that sort of thing quite seriously, if they have enough evidence. Any witnesses?

It's amazing the sort of people they let on the road. I hope you get a result from the police. Some poeple just have no respect for good drivers/quality cars.

I'm lucky enough to be 17 stone with a chest that measures 50" (just over 4 foot). Usually scares them off. If not i have a nice little league aluminium bat under the seat.

I had a feeling something was going to happen as I walked away and it was too dark to take a photo - to be honest if I had stayed around things were getting quite heated and although I have a 40 inch chest being only 5' tall would not have scared them one bit LOL.

I will let you know what the police say tomorrow. I feel better now I have flooded the internet with my woes

Oops, that is not what you want to see coming back from B&Q.

I'm struggling for the words here but the gist of it is probably "Barstewards! Make 'em pay for it!"

Hope they get found, done for it and relieved of sufficient beer tokens to fix the car. They should do time for the period to fix the damage that their little temper tantrum has caused IMO. I f'ing HATE people like that.

J.

Some one must have seen them do it I guess, it must have made a right racket and B&Q car parks are usually busy.
Hope they get them, please keep us up to date.......

Feckin nora, thats terrible

What a sad place we live in these days. I often let rip at people that i'm not happy with on the road, but recently I have began to worry a bit about the consequences if they get my number plate etc (usually cos i'm in the Mrs's Focus).

Its sometimes just better swallowing your pride and ignoring people.
