plz help engine cutting out

any body know the problem is engine cutting out under torque and after a thrashing rough tickover

Need more info from you like the following:-

What model/year
What modifications
What fuel are you running your car on
When was it last serviced and what service was it (age/mileage will do)

sorry UK my98 always run on optimax
its done 87,000 miles
and had oil and filter change a month ago
always regulary serviced
completely standard

Could be one of a couple of problems, the O2 sensor could be playing up, you would really need to get it onto a diagnostic machine to see what the ecu says.
