Question Anyone have a picture of an Sti V8 TMIC in car?

Just cannot find a pic of a stock Sti V8 with a pic of the TMIC!
Thinking of putting one in my Sti v3, so could do with a pic to cpmpare installations.
Any help please, especially if you have done such a thing!

yeah harvey told me, at least you didn't have to re-work the bulkhead like we were told had to be done.

maybe it has to be done with the v3/4 to get it to fit.

think there is a thread on 22B about fitting one to a v3/4

Thanks everyone. The STi TMIC I wanted seems sold, and I think I insulted him with the offer I made too, (sorry if you read this) so will continue the search!

Actually, all I want to do is fit an up rated TMIC in anticipation of the mods I'm making to the engine. Any ideas as an alternative, but cheap as the 6 speeder must take priority!

if you can't get an sti one the wrx intercooler of the same MY isn't a lot smaller.

its better than the one you are using now and you should be able to get one quite cheap.

the going rate seems to be £250 for the sti and 150 for the wrx.

I used the standard my01 WRX one which I bought for £150. As Jonny says it worked well and fitts nicely with the face lifted bonnet. It would be an easy upgrade if you could find some inlet spacers to lift it above the bulkhead seam and servo pipe.

911, I've got a wrx i/c from an 02 car for sensible money, if you end up deciding to take that route.

Thanks as ever to everyone.
Wasn't planning on changing the TMIC, but Bob's5 put a doubt in my mind.
micared, will contact you soon, I have 2 irons in the Sti camp at the moment, will keep your offer in mind if all goes pear shaped.

Still can't find a 6 speeder for sensible £££.....

911, no problem, haven't advertised it anywhere, chances are it'll still be here if you need it. Good hunting!

No jon, not you this time!
Meant to ask you about the 'fans' in your pm to me. Can you let me know?
Sti's dont come with fans as standard do they?

Should have followed your example, sold the Sti v3 and bought a newer one with all the mods I'm adding....
