Default Wahay!! New Member!! My Scooby is on its way!

Hey all,

New member here - names Adam, 22 from South Yorkshire. Currently driving a modded Corsa SXi, pics here: http://www.cruisinnights.co.uk/corsa

Ordered a Dark Blue 98 WRX Import from Japan, should be here in the next month or so. Cant fappin wait. Gonna be a big step up from a Corsa!!

Plans for the beast are gonna be STI Bodykit (any ideas where I can get this from) 5" full system with sports cat, DV, replace the SatNav that comes with it. Also gonna get some nice lights for it too.

So hello and good bye from me!

Assuming youve had an insurance quote on the scoob? Under 25 and an import seems like a bad combination with insurance co's at the mo!..

Very good points on the insurance - also check there's actually a model report available for your exact car too or you may not be able to register it at all.

But, if all goes well, congratulations - you're in for a lot of fun

I had my first Scooby at 21 was an import theres afew insurance companies that cover it, 5years ago that was and it was alot more difficult to insure then nowadays ive noticed theres more specialised insurance companies out there
so shouldnt be too bad its just the silly figure youve got to be prepared for

Insurance is £3086!!!! But going to do some serious shopping around when it gets into country and reckon I can easily beat that - I was hoping to pay something in the region of £2k.

Harry, who did you insure it with?

And by the way, NO ONE likes my exhausts! Apart from me, cause they make my 1.2 sound like a... 1.3!
