in theory it should do, a lot of new cars are so efficiant they don't need the cat.

Will defo not pass legally with full decat, keep the standard centre and refit for mot, 'if' you have problems, find someone with a twin catted centre section like me, but, i'mm too far away!!!

Should be no problem with the big downpipe cat, mine was okay on Tuesday, if fact I may have to dig out the emissions results pre and post centre de-cat see if it made any difference. The results were very low from the one I just had.

It should be fine with just the centre cat, if you've gone the full de-cat route. Least I'm hoping so as I intend to get a downpipe at some point in the not too distant future

I think the main thing is that you take it for a good run before turning up at the MoT testers to get it nice and hot. Cats only work properly when really heated up.

simple rule

leave one cat on for mot pass, does not matter which as long as you leave one.

my choice was to keep the front downpipe cat and run fully decatted with PE tek3, takes up far less room than centre pipe and ditched the heat shielding

i would have thought the downpipe refitting/dismantling would be more expensive/harder to take off than the centre section??

should do, my ukMY99 passes with a FULL decat

as said, i does depend where you take it, as not all the testing machines are the same (thankfully )

deffo keep the centre cat if you can, i wish i'd kept all my original exhaust bits, but got 'pressure' to get shot of them. something to do with 'clutter' apparently

Mine went through with a full decat and it was done in front of me and it was well within the limits........I was pleasantly surprised!!!!

I suppose it differs from car to car.
