CO EMISSIONS AT 6%
Help needed as i have failed my mot test on 6% emissions ...any ideas how to fix this problem??? thanks in advance

Lambda, MAF or cat most likely in that order.

Hello the lamda i have been told has been changed for a universal one??is this bad??? also what is a maf and where does it go on?? thanks

Universal one is OK. MAF is the airflow sensor.
What are the other values other than %CO? ie Lambda & HC.

Hello the report is first test co @7.487%, hc@323 and L@0.811
SECOUND TEST SHOWS
CO@5.331.HC @256 AND L @0.864
DOES THIS TELL YOU GUYS ANYTHING????

what MY (model year) and what exhaust is fitted? I assume you've still got at least one cat fitted?

Your lambda sensor isn't working then, or isn't wired correctly.
