Default Denso Injector adaptors

Are a royal pain in the neck to make and sell, so I will not be doing any more for the forseeable future.

err - sort of gathered that (well, assumed actually) - my PM is not a 'can I have some' message... I was thinking more along the lines of getting info to make some, as an alternate source....

given the time and effort that went into perfecting them to fit all sorts, I am not going to be giving the design away to all and sundry.

We will see what I can come up with.

How will we make the Legacy into a supercar basher now ? At the moment it is only good enough to pass 330is, but we want a little more exotic than that....

Is there any 550 that will go straight into a Phase I fuel rail?

Mark, my post wasnt a dig at you, it was a northern interpretation of Pauls post

John, accoridng to recent results, 330bhp is easily surpassable with 380injectors, so why worry

So with 330BHP in a Legacy should I be able to take M3s as well then? The hilarity of it all

Any CNC machinist should be able to make these.. its not rocket science to do if people are 'that' bothered.. otherwise buy injectors that fit!! (just be prepared for lots of stress and mails )

Delboy2 made his own as he was in a hurry.

Ever thought about going into business making these "special" needs parts, like injector adaptors, manifold spacers, reversed inlet manifolds with all the bits, or anything else you can weld up / machine up?

I'd like some of those "*******" you often weld up!

Between your Dad and you, should be a nice little earner!
IT can keep you fed and watered I guess!

The problem with doing it for money, is that to get them machined by a local machinist (as I do) is not cheap, and I have to get enough to make 10 sets at a time to make the order economic. So when I get 2 people asking for a set, what I am supposed to do? Just order 10 sets and hope I sell the other 8?

Getting parts machined properly isn't cheap either, it's not like being able to do homers at work, I have to pay real money to get this stuff made. Manifolds are not a problem, as I can sort those on an 'to order' basis.

After selling many adaptors, I think I have just about broke even when you take into account the petrol, time, non-payers, warranty replacements etc. If I had known I could have sold all that I have, and had the money I could have ordered 100s of each part and got the cost and time element right down.

Or I can just save myself the hassle and work another 15 minutes every day to get the extra money it might bring in.

Steven, better than that, it has been proven that you can get in the 11's 1/4's with 380 injectors. (but only if you have a TD05)

I got so p1ssed off the other week with some prat in a 330ci that wouldn't let me into the outside lane on a two lane section of the M25 because I was towing a trailer... he deliberatly accelerated to stop me pulling out..
That I (sin I know) tailgated him and much to the huge annouance of my wife accelerated until he had had enough and moved over and then passed him..
His face.. his new car out gunned and out gunned by someone towing a 500kg trailer..

I think the 2.5 Legacy will be up there duling M3's.
A friend had a 98 (iirc) M3 and that would only gain about a car length in third and same in fourth etc.. on my car back when it only had a scoobyecu and decat and filter.

lol.. it is actually amazing how much more like hard work it is driving at a slower speed and avoiding the 3rd lane.. drive without the trailer and sit in the outside lane at xxxmph and cut into middle and inside when lanes clear etc and there is no effort.. sit in the inside at 60 to 75mph and you have to pull out to overtake lorries, judge speed of cars coming up behind, avoid all the people (usually me) cutting in to take a junction etc.

Is there any 550 that will go straight into a Phase I fuel rail?
Stillen (Steve Millen) makes and supplies 550's that will go straight into phase 1 rails, but the harness is square and requires an adaptor, or change the OEM harness.
No adaptors needed for the rails.

Best place for used stillen 550's is on the 300zx twin turbo boards, they usualy go for around $600, but the price is for 6 injectors.

Question Fuel Rails

While we are covering this area what fuel rails and feed are people using. All the kits seem very expensive.
