Question Best Sports Cat for downpipe?

With the changes to the MoT looming soon, anyone with any opinions/proof of a good D/P for classic Sti with a low resistance Sport cat which will clean a tuned Sti v3?(and be 3'' diameter)
Is there a significant difference in performance in such a system, and would you need a re map to keep the engine safe between decat and sport cat?

Engine tune planned soon;

TD05 Andy F turbo
Gruppe s headers/U/P
Walbro/550cc fuel
Optimax without NF booster
Apexi FC/AndyF map
Somekindofdownpipe!

most people just refit the cat for the mot anyway, its not that big a job (considering you did your own clutch lol)

! That's right, just get fed-up living under this bloody car!
The change coming is the garage can only print an MoT cert if the emmissions are 'green' or not required due to the car's age.
Roadside checks will increase (guess what car will be targeted).

When i do the headers and turbo at Xmas thought i would go green if there is a good performance downpipe out there.

Thanks for coming back!

Graham Pryme uses one in his RB5 which he sprints, I remember him saying he'd had no problems with it or MOT's and he'd not noticed much change in power.

Might be GGR or power station one.
