Know it wont be broadbank but looking for a good network/mobile combintion so I can access the internet/e-mail via laptop.

I have recently been reading up on T-Mobiles offering. They provide, in the purchase price of the package, a modem adapter so that your phone communicates with your lappy as a modem.

Bit out of my depth as far as mobile phone modems go. Obviously depends on what lappy you have... does it have infrared? It would be slow and not to mention, expensive.
