Default Calling all computer buffs!

Guys/Gals

I need help! I managed to download a movie and I wish to burn it onto a cd (not DVD). Easy so far? Well, the problem is that it's in .BIN format and I tried using NERO StartSmart to burn it.

Firstly, it doesn't recognise the .BIN file and secondly, it won't fit onto a single CD. It says I need a bigger CD!

So, my question is, how do I go about it? The movie has 2 cd files with .CUE files with them. I've never burned a movie CD before so any help is much apprecaited!

Cheers

got to nero and click "recorder" then scroll down and click "burn image" then you will just open the folder where your bin and cue image is and that s it

if it's a movie file, you can play the .bin directly with www.BSPlayer.org.

Stevebt

Thanks for the reply much appreciated.

Just tried it there, went to recorder in Nero selected burn image and only one file was shown (.CUE file). Could only see the other file (.BIN) when I select see all files. Anyways, burnt a cd using only the cue file and when I tried to watch it on WMPlayer, no joy .

Anyway, out of curiousity, I selected only the .BIN file to burn and said the CD wasn't big enough, didn't know there were different sizes

Any ideas?

Cheers

Strange!

Thought I would try the disc in my DVD player (before I used it as a flying saucer straight into the bin) it worked!

How can it work on a dvd player and not a PC? I thought you'd get a better chance of a movie working on a PC than a dvd player?

Now I'm really !

For it to work on a pc it needs to be converted to an AVI file of DivX

Easy - its a VCD and you don't have any DVD/VCD player on your PC .

Download a copy of WinDVD for your PC and Voila your there.
