After 2 very, very long months, I have finally got CK 1 back from the dealer!
After mucho aggro from IM they finally fitted another complete new gearbox, as their first choice repair failed to resolve the problem. I was stunned when told by my dealer that the retail price for a gearbox is £2750!!!!! Poo that for a game of soldiers!
The car basically feels brand new again (most of it is!!!), and it doesn't seem to have 'lost' anything. I was worried it would come back feeling like a castrated bulldog!
Makes you appreciate what you've got doesn't it, when something's taken away from you.....

Congrats mate! So how much running in needs to be done with all the new bits? 16 days till Silverstone!

No more Spod mate, at least not the amount I used to run.
I feel the car has done all it can there without further mods, unless someone with a UK car beats 13.2 of course....
