i have a my99rb5 and there is something wierd about the gearbox/clutch it has a sort of lag when u change gear, as my other 94wrx wen u changed gear it just went no lag. i spoke to another owner of a my99 he had the same prob could any one shed any light? (did a 13.8 standard 2day!)

 

clutch slip? Does it only happen when you are applying power or even when driving normaly?

 

i dont think its my clutch, it doesnt do it at slow speeds, so could it b? it sets of fine? i can launch it into next week

can't remember where though, but the older cars you could 'beat the synchro' which you can't do with the new ones.
