Goodyear Eagle F1's are pretty good.

Most popular seem to be Goodyear F1 GSD3 or Toyo Proxes T1S. Vredestien are supposed to last better than most if you're tight.

I've just replaced my front RE040s with a pair of P-Zeros. They're not scrubbed in yet but they feel good. I haven't lost any of the initial turn in response which I was worried about.

I'll let you know how they perform in a couple of hundred miles.

It's not recommended as the front and rear will have different traction. The only time on public roads that you're likely to notice the difference is in the wet and I don't drive my scooby hard in the wet. I'll be changing the rears to P-Zeros in about 2 months when they've worn out.

How will it affect the warranty??

Provided the tyres are the same or higher speed rating I don't see that it would make any difference.
