I think they look out of place on classics.

I don't like the looks of them, but if it makes the intercooler work better then I'll have it.

When i've looked at the pic again it seems the scoop is more upright than on a blobeye bonnet, i presume the bonnet slopes more on the 03/04.

I don't think there is a great deal in it......

Here are a couple of pics of the classic alongside my old STi...

Looks like the sti scoop is recessed into talizman's sti bonnet, whereas on the classic its 'sat on top'.

agreed the Blobeye bonnet has the scoop slightly recessed into it hence it doesn't in my mind look the pigs ear that it does on the classic.

It looks massive I'm sure it does wonders for the intercooler, but I'm not convinced from the looks point-of-view.

The difference is that on the 'blobeye' the scoop is actually much deeper (from front to back) than the earlier cars, so replicating its height whilst retaining the small depth results in a stumpy looking scoop

think it needs another 'ear' the other side o the bonnet to complete 'the look'

I reckon the owner got it to have cheaper insurance. That scoop has now imposed a minimum height requirement of 6ft+, therefore dwarf thief’s (5ft 11 of less ) wont be able to steel the car because they cant see where they are going

Rock on baby!! It’s the way forward, Stop Locks are sooooo 90’s
