That is the 'most posts by a newbie' button.
Nah, it's the 'Bright' switch. It, errrm, makes the digital clock, errmmm, brighter. Guys with grey imports (easily spotted due to having a rear wash/wipe) don't have them, and that makes them very bitter.

Is this not the switch for the sidelights when the ignition is off for parking? Certainly is on a classic.

LOL @ Chuck

You will find that if you have your lights on and then turn the ignition off, your lights are turned off automatically, so the only way you can make the side lights stay on, is by using the switch on top of the steering column.

I thought it was the drain your battery overnight switch

I remember a few posts like "I cleaned my interior and now my lights are stuck on, help!"

Too late. I pushed it when i had some passengers and I had passengers no more. Last owner must have converted it to ejector seat. Oh well !!! Need to find some new friends.

Great button, wish more cars had it.

I could drive around with lights on all the time (to warn other dopey drivers I'm there) and not worry about leaving them on when the engine's off.
