Not yet got the manual
Just colected my Scooby but didnt get a manual with it. Previous owner is still looking for it. Can anyone tell me what the switch on top of the steering column does ? Dont want to push it just in case its the ejector seats!!!!
That is the 'most posts by a newbie' button.
Nah, it's the 'Bright' switch. It, errrm, makes the digital clock, errmmm, brighter. Guys with grey imports (easily spotted due to having a rear wash/wipe) don't have them, and that makes them very bitter.

You will find that if you have your lights on and then turn the ignition off, your lights are turned off automatically, so the only way you can make the side lights stay on, is by using the switch on top of the steering column.

Great button, wish more cars had it.
I could drive around with lights on all the time (to warn other dopey drivers I'm there) and not worry about leaving them on when the engine's off.
