Question Knock sensor position on UK turbo?

Has anyone replaced the standard knock sensor on a UK turbo 2000 (MY99) ?

Have seen some pics of where it should be for older WRXs but I'm still struggling to see where the thing is on my car!

Thanks. Any idea if the IC has to come off to get to sensor?

I took the IC off my car. Was easier to work on when running all the cables for my other gauges.

Try with it on and see if you lose any bolts down the engine bay.

I couldn't even see it with the I/C on!

I/C came off and was still nasty to get too but got it changed eventually without loosing any bolts (was close though!).

Thanks for the pics etc, hopefully the new sensor will last a long time!
