Supagard paint protection
Hi
Has anyone had this treatment carried out on their car?
Have been offered this by the dealer and would like some opinions from owners that have it before saying yes or no.
Are u happy with result / do u think it was worth it? £250 does sound pricey.
Cheers

but the paintwork is a maybe
but the wheel stuff is pants and total waste of money
IMHOTony
yeh - the wheel stuff looks great. Whilst you're on the drive.
As soon as you brake, the wheel acts as a magnet for any brake dust
The inside, well, I'll have to say that I'm not overly convinced. I've got 2 young kids, and they've managed to find Supaguard's weaknesses
Having said that, I got it thrown in for free, as part of my deal. Wouldn't have been too chuffed if I'dve paid for it.
Dan
PS Tony - have you tried contacting Supaguard to claim on their "blemish-free" paintwork policy
Will call you later - been meaning to, but got tied up at work

Don't waste your money.
Get a good valeter to do a wax wizard swizzol style clean & wax then scotch (sp?) guard the interior.
Then just wax/shampoo on a fairly regular basis.
I had my Terzo supergarded at the dearler but when I got it gossy'ed it was a different car

DO NOT PUT THIS ON!!! I had it done for free, now I have a problem. The person that did it originally did not get the water marks out before applying the Supagard and now it is forever visible under the Supagard. I hear the only way to sort this is to use some sort of T-cut type polish to remove the Supagard. Better off waxing with Swissol.

A good clean and wax will do a much better job.
Try the likes of zymol or meguires.

ITS OK i get it free from work so its better than nothing . cleans up the interior good. polish isnt amazing but hey it looks good for a few weeks
I think this is what I had from the dealer last year.
Not overly impressed with the outside, but inside OK.
And the one year guarantee, IIRC, just gets you another application. So if the bird sh*t or fly remains don't come off, and you claim, they'll coat them in for another year.
Was told it takes about 2 hours to apply (??) so that would account for the £50 kit + labour = £200

Thanks everybody 4 your help, cheers.
think i,ll ask them 2 do interior but leave of the outside.
Have always used Autoglym super resin polish and have been pleased with results, but there's probably better products than this.
Suppose dealer makes this treatment out 2 be better as its his job 2 sell it.
thanks again,
