still trying to get a dent removed.
anyone used a company that uses suckers rather than manipulating back of panel.
taken it to one firm and they could not remove due to strengthening bar in door that they did not want to drill.

 

Depends where you are, really...a mate of mine who works for one of these companies, comes to my house to sort mine out, I'm in Southampton. He's used the method you describe on mine, to take out a similarly placed dent.

Family business called "Woodpecker" are very good, based near Tadcaster somewhere but do just about all garages Malton, York, Leeds etc (including BMW, Audi etc ) .. Ive had 2 cars done there (Golf & Impreza), and both times have been impressed by his work..

Do a search on the net for his number, if you struggle let me know and I'll dig it out..

Took car to Andrew at Woodpecker Yesterday.
car had already been to Leeds where a firm said they couldnt do it!
he spent 2 hrs on one dent alone and was really apologetic about not been able to remove it totally.
but it is hardly noticable now and removed about 8 others totally.
impressed is an understatement.
really nice bloke too!

How much did he charge you mate as I have a few pin dent on mine, which are really annoying me. And where abouts is he located???

 

He charges £50 per car .
