150.8 miles out of £20 Optimax (MY04 Wagon with 750miles on the clock) That was from fuel light on to fuel light on again.

My best ever was 71miles from £15 of Optimax in my MY99 Wagon. I just put the fuel in and then booted it until it was all gone Loads of fun!

Thumbs up

I managed to get the STi past the magic 300 mile mark from a tankfull on a run to Cardiff and back this week - mind you I had to do a good 'Driving Miss Daisy' impression to achieve it

cathrine, i don't think caning is the right word!

but on an empty m6 in the middle of the night, didn't go to fast for fear of blowing engine up, only doing about 120 (kph of course)!

I posted the other week 711 miles on £85. Chesterfield / Manchester and straight up to Falkirk. On to Perth and back the same way. I never went above 80mph and below 70mph on motorway, so thats Manchester to Perth and never stopped.

Got approx 300 miles to £40 Optimax on a run in my UK Classic this week - and I was gunning it a lot.

For some reason mine seems slightly more economical than a lot of others, I find out when talking to other owners.

The different gearing on some of 'em must make a fair old difference to economy ????

Well in my WRX I find that I spend more time watchin the fuel gauge than the road If im sensible I can squeze 210 out of it. However first weekend I got it I got 500 Kilometres from £90 ! Turned out to be a dodgy Blitz DV

Got 219 miles yesterday out off a full tank of optimax going to watch the Welsh rally. And i litteraly took the car by the neck and rung it for all it was worth, going there with only A roads and B roads used, two up and boot full of gear. Bit more sidate on the way home. But when i could go i did. Had a new Seat owner with me in car. So had to show him what a bend was.

pmsl .

Unhappy

My best/worst (whichever way you look at it) was the other week. I did a full tank doing nearly all town driving and got 163 miles to £43. I seriously thought I ought to check for leaks in the petrol tank!

Normally I get 220 to a tank full. That's normally half town and half a road driving.

My best to date is 260.

MY99 UK Turbo. These things are meant to have the more economical ECU... my ****!
