the main drag in and out of town was manic... 8 lanes wide!!!!!!!!!! scary stuff with a minibus driver doing 60 kmh in the middle of the morning rush hour..

speed on the way home.... 40kmh... yes they have traffic jams and crap drivers.....

Smile Russia

Hi,

You'll be surprised how many expensive cars you will find in dubious countries!
I go to Kazachstan a few times each year, there are more Mercedes ML and G class cars driving around than in Germany, all have pitchblack windows......
Also new BMW 5 & 7 series, Audi A8's, M3's etc...
The people driving them are a statement of their own, with polyester suits, no necks and a bulge under their armpit.......

Alot of these cars used to be stolen in Europe, shipped to Russia and other countries the very day you lost it!
I remember 7-8 years ago, walking through Bucarest, seeing a brand new Golf VR6 with the driverside lock completely pulled out, Dutch dealerstickers and NL countrysticker still on it.......with Romanian plates.

in other words, there are more people who like your ride other than your neighbour!

There was a Russian couple attended our International meet in Germany this weekend. They were in a non-turbo Impreza and won a prize for the longest journey to the event.... Over 3000km!
