Default Impreza/Forester exhaust.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a impreza exhaust and a forester exhaust, could i get a impreza exhaust system to fit on a forester.
I have a sti back box, that i would like to put on.

I looked into this as I have a spare STI UK backbox laying around. It does'nt fit. The Impreza backbox is too short(by about 2 inches I think).

if you want a new exhuast Hayward & Scott make a forester specific one.
BTW it only the back box that is shorter the rest is the same as an impreza of the same year
or you could extend the tailpipe of an impreza box (depending which one)
ps check outwww.subaruforester.com

Many thanks, would the mid section bolt onto my cat?, would i actually gain anything from this, or would it muck things up, i do have a green filter installed. If it will work?, how much do you want for the mid section and where are you?.

Regards

Ths box does go on and is short, but the angle rotation is out, the flanges dont line up, i guess due to my mid pipe being standard 2", the sti box is 2 1/2" the tail pipe sits higher as well but we could do something with that?.
What i really want to know is, is it really worth me doing.
