Hello everybody,

Its my first post ever! I have never considered buying a scooby, always driven german cars (VW & MB) and believed that scoobs were not my type of thing.

That was until my mate Jimmy bought one and took me for a spin before we went out one night. All that night instead of looking at the lovely ladies.....correction there werent any that night....I was thinking 'I might have a look at buying one.'

The following day we went on a long drive with mate of Jimmys (Another scooby owner). The 'I might' turned into 'I WILL'. The weekend after we all went to the red lion in Chesterfield for a meet that was being held. I met some great people and saw some excellent cars. My golf went up on the autotrader the following day and to cut a long story short.....

I pick up my MY01 red bugeye up from the dealers tommorow.

Get the Prodrive headlights - they look much better!!

Oh, and all the best with the new car. Should be reliable - just look after her.

never use to be my thing till i got my 03 wrx and wow i would never go back to my V6 saab scoob's what a drive, a real drivers car

Enjoy matey. My first scooby was/is a bugeye with modified headlights and a few other bits.
Saving for a carbon bonnet on my silver scooby and the mods are not ending there...

Lots of great guys down S.Yorks area, just be careful if you drive out with them, they are fcukin nuts (eh Cheesy, Bobcat, Peccy, Jase......)

I will be there, cars called LUCY you will understand when you see the reg. Shes just like all my pervious women. Looks a little odd from certain angles but goes like a barn door when you want some fun .

 

Actually X I think I met you. If your the chap in the silver scoob that was nicked for your front plate.

I was with Jimmy (A green classic) and Bruce (Black classic STI), the tall lanky git turning green with envy and blue with the cold.

 

WRX, enjoying the G already! Going to rush down some pasta and get back out into Derbyshire for an hour or so
