the scoob has just passed its first mot,with a full decat i was expecting it to fail (so was the mot tester).we were both shocked when he hooked it up to the emissions machine and it was under.he had quoted me £200 to refit the original exhaust then put the decat back on.i slipped him a fiver on the way out for a pint.

 

Sure you didn`t slip him that fiver on the way in?

You MUST have ONE CAT at least to pass the test - the limit is 0.3% on fast idle and 0.5% on idle ...... I don't think an engine can hit those figures CATLESS!!

for £200 id expect an exhaust thrown in glad you passed mine flew thru the same way but i wasnt bothered as it was a friends MOT garage

 

My old scoob did (my00 PPP decat).
Had a rating of 0.01% (no longer have the documentation as i sold the car).
