Is there a hose from the boost soleniod that can be replaced to improve boost?
Might be another fact that turns out to be complete carp but when I ran a search ages ago on boost solenoid cleaning I read about replacing a pipe from the solenoid which improved the boost curve.
Someone said they replaced said pipe with a lager internal diameter and also the T piece and the following hoses connected to it which made their car feel quicker.

There are loads of changes you can make, it just makes more overboost in higher gears though. There is a risk when you trash it hard on a cold wet day that the overboost will trigger boost oscillations.
CustomScoobyIOM - Cheer mate I'd be interested in seeing what I have to do.
John Banks - Whats boost oscillation? I take it its not a good thing.
I don't really thrash my car and I would say honestly that my car rarely passes 6k or even gets close to it. Just like a car that pulls well - if that makes any sense.
