P1 ticking and\ whining
Hi there all. As the weather was finally quite nice the other day, I took the car out for its first cruise of the spring. Upon having both windows down however, I hear a ticking noise that sounded like it was coming from the front left wheel. The tick was happening every wheel revolution from the sounds of it as when I sped up, so did the click. After about half an hour the click turned into a whine that got louder and then softer as the wheel went around. The whine stopped however when I put my foot on the brake. Upon taking the car out today, there was nothing, but later on the ticking came back although no whine. Has anyone else had similar problems? One of my mates reckons its either a bit of crap trapped between the brake pads and disc, or its the wheel bearing making the noise. Either way its driving me mad!
On a different note, I am getting a new exhaust system this weekend, and I am also getting the ECU re-mapped. He is going to put the boost up to 1.35psi apparantly-is this going to reliable? Also is the clutch going to take the extra 40-50 bhp ok? Any suggestions would be appreciated on both topics

My P1 does this on the front right. Been told that it is advisable to strip the brakes down once a year and clean them out. By the way I have the Prodrive 330m upgrade. I have had the wheel bearings checked and they seem to be ok. My theory is that the grooves on the discs are baked full of brake dust and this is what is making the noise when it rubs against the pads, I keep meaning to clean the grooves out.
