Just wondering of someone can help. I've seen a car i may buy, the trader only had the green part of the Vehicle Reg Doc, surely he should also have the Blue part to fill out the new owner details. Do you think it looks a bit suspect?.

 

if the car has had a private plate on it then the DVLA office return the bottom green slip stamped with the new reg no. on it.

If that is the case then it should be ok

If not take care

The V5 log book will only take about 2 weeks to be returned to the owner so if unsure only buy the car when the V5 is back with the trader
