Hi there, i want to get an Impreza but everyone i know has Cossies or Skylines, or dare i say...Supras , so i don't know that much about them.
Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the best model to go for and what to look/ listen out for when buying (other than obvious parts missing from the engine or damaged body work, banging noises etc.) also could you let me know the common things that go wrong with them.
I want something that will get a good time at the pod.
What times were people getting last summer and what mods do your cars have to be able to acheive these times? 0-60?
Any good thrashing stories?....or crashing/ blowing bits up stories?
Would i be better off with a 4 door saloon or a 2 door coupe?
How easy are Impreza's to tune and how much can they be tuned?
I have heard that the Impreza is known for it's chocolate engine...is this true?
How many engines does one usually go through in it's life?
I know the list of questions is long but i want to find out as much as i can before i buy and this seemed the best place to do it.
