Subaru transformers @Argos
Guys
I bought one of those Bandai Transfromers from Hong Kong a while back- think it was about £30.
However you can now get them at Argos for £15.99. GUtted, but good news for everyone else
Cat no is 372/1290
It's a b45tard to transform- but is one for the collector I suspect.

Yes, my Argos one is largely plastic.
A marvel of design and engineering though....... damn thing took me 20 minutes to transform from car -> robot, and probably at least the same again to get back to the car. That was following the (brief) instructions.
A 5 year old that can't be bothered to read the instructions would probably do it in less than 5 mins each way.
It's now staying as a car, and is sitting on top of my TV.....

Mr.Shades, if it took you 20 minutes from car to robot, then I'd chuck it in the bin if I were you because it's a lot more difficult the other-way-around (difficult to get it looking like an Impreza again
)
Yep the die-cast ones are of superior quality and more of a bugger to trasnform for some reason...

Have I been diddled then?
The one I got from Honkers is a plastic Bandai one. I could find metal ones but as I recall they were WAY more expensive (like £60 or something...)
It is fiendishly fiddly to transform. I'm keeping it in the box after it took so long to get back to the car.
May pass it on to number one son when he's 17 or something
